We love going up the canyon as a family. We had so much spending time together and playing around in the great outdoors. It wasn't as cold this time. I love my family so much and I am so happy that we get to share these wonderful memories together. I wish that we could have got a family picture there. Everybody looked so cute and was very happy.
Paul had the day off of work and we decided to go up to Vivian Park as a family. It was lots of fun but very cold. I wish that I would have known that we were going there because I would have had everyone dressed differently for pictures. The girls loved playing with the leaves and rocks. Daxton liked to eat the leaves and rocks- LOL. I am so glad that we are able to do fun things together as a family.
Our little Jade found mommies lipstick, and tada.
Jayden is always into everything. After taking a nap the other day, she climbed onto the counter and found my lipstick. I don't think I need to say anything else.
Daxton loves to crawl around the house. I guess he is a true boy because he is our first to army crawl around. He loves to go under the table after the girls have eaten and he has already figured out to go by Jayden's chair and he will be sure to find a suprise. Then I usually break his heart and take it away and clean up his chance to happiness. It is so fun to watch him move around the house. The girls absolutely adore him. They love to make sure he has his toys and they fight over who gets to help give him his bottle. When they hear him wake up in his crib they won't leave me alone until we go get him. I am so happy that they all love each other so much. He is very lucky to have to extra mommies.
We went to a BYU basketball game with Nana, Papa and all of the cousins. The kids loved it! They love the Cougars- just like daddy. They couldn't get enough of their Sprite & popcorn. Even Daxton had a blast at his first basketball game.
Dax loves guitar hero. He loves to head bang to the music. Skylan thought it would be fun to put on her Halloween outfit from when she was a baby size 3-6 months. I think she looked cute even though it was very small. Jayden putting on Skylan's shoes. I don't think she did it correctly. The kids hanging out in their pj's watching a movie and yes that is Dax eating the naked barbies legs. Jayden thought it would be fun to dump pancake mix all over the livingroom and kitchen before her haircut at nana's.
I love when the girls have their hair in pigtails. I just don't do it that often because they usually end up being torn out and then we have a bad hair day. They just don't keep them in. Skylan used to when she was a baby but she likes to wear her hair down.
Jade turned 2 in November. We had so much fun celebrating our little comedians birthday. We went out to eat with nana and papa, went to Chuck E Cheese a few weeks before, and had two birthday parties. She is such a sweet little girl with such a big heart and fearless. She is our little princess. She loves to play with her dolls, strollers, kitchen and dress ups. She loves her big sister more than anything in the world and would do anything for her. She loves to take care of her little brother. She always makes us laugh. I can't believe how funny she is. I love my little Jade so much. I can't wait to spend more birthdays with you sweetheart. I love you.
The girls were both witches for Halloween. Skylan loves the Dora Saves the Snow Princess movie and there is a witch in that movie. She thought it was pretty cool that she was a witch and had a broom. We decided not to dress Daxton up since he was going to be in bundled in his carseat. We had so much fun. We went to Paul's office at about 3:30,my parents, my grandma's, and Gibbon's. Hurried home and went trick or treating with the girls around our neighborhood with Simeon and Brigham. We went to Laura's house and then off to Aunt Kelly's for her famous halloween party. Let's just say we didn't get home until about 11:30. I am just so grateful that the girls had such a great time. Jayden was holding her bag, broom and had a big tootsie roll sticking out of her mouth while trick or treating.
Every year we carve pumpkins with all of the cousins at Nana and Papa's. The kids had a total blast. They eat donuts and bobbed for apples. Then it was time to carve pumpkins. We were a little carved out so Paul tried to keep it simple this time. The kids had so much fun playing with their cousins. Daxton was having an awesome time too! Thanks for planning this wonderful party for the kids Nana and Papa. We love you lots!! XOXO
