Jayden posing for the camera

Jayden woke up early from a nap and she was being really funny. So, I had to take some pictures of her posing. She is such a ham.

Where did Daxton go?

The kids just got done taking their baths and I went in my room to grab some diapers. I went to the girls room and couldn't see Daxton. I found him in the half bathroom that we are finishing. He ditched the towel and was having a blast playing with dad's tools. I was laughing so hard and of course I had to take some pictures. I think we found Daddy's little helper.

Paul got me a new camera for our Anniversary!!!!

We went to the park and had a picnic with the girls. Daxton was asleep the whole time. It was the first nice day in a long time so it was nice to be outside. The only bummer was that their was so much snow on the playground. The girls had a lot of fun running around on the field though. I love the picture of Skylan holding the leaf-definitely one of my favorites.

I was so excited when Paul suprised me with my new Nikon SLR camera. We had so much fun taking new pictures with it!! Can't you just feel the love.
I love my kids. They are all so beautiful and so much fun to play with. We had so much fun hanging out taking pictures of the kids.

Where did Skylan go?

Oh there she is....
and now dad is going to cuddle with her.

Dax all snuggled up outside watching the girls play.

Dax loves to be outside and sit in his stroller. He loves to go for walks or even just watch his big sisters play.

Jade & her Blankie

Nana made Jayden her blankie for her before she was born & she loves it! She has to sleep with it every night and if I was it she won't rest until it is completely dry. She once cried for an hour because I was washing her blankie. I love it because this is how she always holds her blankie up against her face. She likes to hold the pink silk ribbon on her hands too. I am grateful because I have never allowed her to take her blankie with us. So it is always there for her when she gets home and she is able to go places with out it. She loves her blankie and her dolls. She even has special blankies for her favorite dolls. I love you, Jayden.

Yay, we cut down the apple tree!!!

We had a apple tree in our back yard that was at least a 100 years old. The people that lived here before us even grafted in more apples. This tree had so many apples. I swear thats all that we did was pick up apples in the back yard. Anyways, I got really sick of cleaning them up and stepping on them. I really wanted the kids to have more of an open area to play and not have to worry about apples. Plus, I wanted Dax to be able to play in the backyard without eating a rotten apple. We still have a cherry tree, so I gave in and had my dad come and cut the tree down. I love it and I couldn't be any happier being in our back yard now without the apples.

Chuck-E-Cheese again

We took the girls to Chuck e Cheese with Nana, Laura and her grandkids, Matt and his kids, and of course Paul. It was so much fun. They loved riding all of their rides, earning tickets with their games and playing on the big slide. They made some new friends that helped them up the slide because they are too small. Skylan was quite the pro at shooting the clown with water and got a lot of tickets there. Daxton had a few friends that he played with too. Our friends little girl Sara was such a big helper with Dax and held him on a few rides. We had so much fun that we can't wait to go back.

Tickets!!!

The girls get tickets for good behavior. If they get put in time out then I take one away for bad behavior. They use their tickets to buy stuff like treats, fruit snacks, dollar toys, new toys, to watch tv or movies, clothes, and shoes. They save up their tickets and when they want something I make them buy it with their tickets. If they don't have enough then they have to work real to earn extra tickets. It is real cute because if Jayden doesn't have enough Skylan will give her one of her tickets. I even have a place for little treats that they can buy. Skylan has wanted these princess shoes for a long time. I told her that I would buy them and that she would have to earn 40 tickets before she could have them. They were so excited to finally have their pink princess shoes. Skylan is obssessed with pink, clothes and shoes. She gets more excited for that stuff then toys- She is such a Princess!!

Finger Paints

The girls love love to paint so we bought them some finger paint. It was really messy but lots of fun. Skylan was very serious about what she was painting. Jayden was happy that she could make a mess and paint. I love to do crafts with the girls. I am just so glad that they enjoy to do them too.

Daxton's 1st Haircut

Daxton got his first haircut on Jan. 29th, 2009. We have been so lucky because Paul's mom cuts hair. It is so much fun because Nana gets to cut the kids hair. They love it and they even play beauty shop and pretend they are Nana. Daxton was so good. He sat so still and just smiled the whole time. She cut it like a Fohawk for me! I love his crazy hair. He has had two other haircuts since. I wish that I would have taken before and afters.

What do you do with your DIAPER BOX?

I went to a girl's night and came home to some really exciting stories about our Diaper box. The girls were telling me how their dad tied a rope to it and pulled them around the house. The box was a car, truck, airplane, boat and train. They thought it was the most exciting toy ever. They even fought over who got to play in this box. I am sad to say that it did pass away. It was buried in a tall black garbage can. The garbage man picked it up in it's big truck and took to it's plot. We will forever miss this Huggies Box.

Christmas is Finally Here

The girls were excited because Santa came & it was Christmas Day!

Everyday we answered the questions:
How many more Days until Christmas?
Is it Christmas?
When can we open our Presents?
Is Santa coming to our house?
Is tomorrow Christmas?
I think you get the picture. The girls were so excited when it was finally here and they were able to open their presents. They have been talking about this special day all year long and it was finally here. They got lots of fun toys and clothes. They got a new kitchen and stuff for it, new baby dolls and furniture for them, polly pockets, barbies, games, basketball hoop, sports stuff for Dax, trucks, bouncing Zebra, and other fun toys. Then it was time to go to Nana & Papa's, Grandma & Grandpa's for more excitement and presents.

Playing in the Snow

In the winter, Paul would take the girls outside to play in the snow and they had a blast. He pulled them around on the sled in the front yard and in the road. They were giggling the whole time and thought they were pretty hot stuff. They made snow angels and a snowman. Then daddy thought it would be fun to teach them how to make snowballs and throw them at mommy. I think the part they enjoyed the most was eating the fresh white snow. YUMMY!!! They loved playing in the snow with daddy their best friend.
